Welcome to Elders Embrace. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services.
1. Services
Elders Embrace provides elderly care services including personal care, companionship, meal preparation, Cognitive Wellness, medication management, respite care, transportation, and Alzheimer’s and dementia care. These services are tailored based on the specific needs of each client.
2. Eligibility
Our services are available to individuals in need of elderly care. You must be 18 years of age or older to book services on behalf of a client. Elders Embrace reserves the right to decline services if eligibility criteria are not met.
3. Service Agreements
Before services begin, a care plan and agreement will be established outlining the scope of services, pricing, and schedule. Both parties must agree to and sign this agreement.
4. Payment Terms
All payments for services must be made in accordance with the terms set out in the service agreement. Payment methods and schedules will be agreed upon in advance. Late payments may result in suspension or termination of services.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations: Clients may cancel services with 24 hours’ notice. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in cancellation fees.
Refunds: Refunds for prepaid services will be issued in accordance with the service agreement, considering any used or non-refundable services.
6. Changes to Services
Any changes to the care plan or services must be requested in writing and mutually agreed upon. Elders Embrace will strive to accommodate any reasonable changes but reserves the right to adjust pricing if the scope of services is altered.
7. Caregiver Conduct
Our caregivers are carefully selected, trained, and background-checked to provide the highest level of service. Clients and their families are expected to treat caregivers with respect. Any form of abuse, harassment, or unsafe working conditions may result in the termination of services.
8. Confidentiality
Elders Embrace is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of personal and medical information shared with us. We will only use or disclose information as necessary to provide care or as required by law.
9. Liability
While we strive to offer the best possible care, Elders Embrace cannot be held liable for any accidental injuries, illnesses, or adverse outcomes beyond our reasonable control. Our caregivers will act in accordance with established protocols, but it is the responsibility of the client and their family to ensure a safe environment.
10. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice, in accordance with the terms outlined in the agreement. Elders Embrace reserves the right to terminate services if terms and conditions are violated, payment is not made, or if unsafe conditions are present.
11. Use of Website
Links: Our website may include links to third-party websites. Elders Embrace is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these external sites.
12. Modifications to Terms
Elders Embrace reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
